Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of this website and any purchases you make from Marvellous Games. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Who we are

Marvellous Games is a small business operated by a sole trader based in the United Kingdom, trading as Marvellous Games (“we”, “us”, “our”). When we refer to “you” or “your”, we mean the person using this website and/or placing an order as a consumer.

Eligibility and use of the site

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding contract to place an order on this site. You agree that you will use this website only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict or inhibit anyone else’s use of the site.

Products and descriptions

We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, images and prices are accurate and up to date. However, minor variations in colour, packaging or appearance may occur. All products are offered subject to availability. If a product is unavailable after you place an order, we will notify you and offer an alternative or a refund.

Prices and payment

All prices are shown in Pounds Sterling (GBP) and include any applicable UK taxes at the current rate, unless stated otherwise. Shipping costs are shown separately and depend on your delivery address and order weight, and are confirmed before you complete payment.

We use trusted third‑party payment processors (such as Stripe) to handle card payments securely. Your card details are processed by the payment provider and are not stored on our servers.

Ordering process

When you place an order on our website, you will receive an email confirming that we have received your order. This confirmation is for information only and does not constitute acceptance of your order. A contract is formed only when we dispatch your order and send a dispatch confirmation email.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order, for example if a product is unavailable, if there is an error in the price or description, or if we suspect fraudulent or abusive activity. If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will issue a refund to your original payment method.

Delivery

We aim to dispatch orders within a reasonable time after your payment has been successfully processed. Estimated delivery times and available shipping options are shown during checkout. These are estimates only and are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by postal or courier services, customs, or other factors beyond our reasonable control.

Risk in the products passes to you when they are delivered to the delivery address you gave at checkout. Please check your delivery details carefully; we cannot be held responsible for items that cannot be delivered because of incorrect or incomplete address information.

UK deliveries

We use Royal Mail for UK deliveries. Our aim is to dispatch orders within 1-2 working days, and delivery typically takes 2-3 working days after dispatch. All UK orders are sent with tracking details that you can use to track and manage your order after dispatch.

Delivery time estimates are aims, not guarantees. UK deliveries include compensation cover up to £75 for items lost or damaged in transit. This compensation is claimable by you directly from Royal Mail, subject to their terms and conditions, using the tracking information provided.

International deliveries

We use Royal Mail for international deliveries. Our aim is to dispatch orders within 1-2 working days, and delivery typically takes 3-5 working days after dispatch. All international orders are sent with tracking details that you can use to track and manage your order after dispatch.

Delivery time estimates are aims, not guarantees. International deliveries include compensation cover up to £250 for items lost or damaged in transit. This compensation is claimable by you directly from Royal Mail, subject to their terms and conditions, using the tracking information provided.

Consumer rights, returns and refunds

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.

If you are a consumer in the UK, you may have a legal right to cancel your order within a certain period and to receive a refund, and you may have additional rights where goods are faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose. These rights arise from applicable consumer protection law, including (where relevant) the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

To exercise your statutory rights, please contact us as soon as possible with your order details. We will explain the next steps, including how and where to return any items where a return is appropriate under your statutory rights.

Faulty or damaged items

We take care to ensure your order arrives in good condition. If your item arrives faulty or damaged, please contact us promptly with your order number and, where possible, photographs of the issue. We will work with you in line with your statutory rights, which may include a repair, replacement or refund, depending on the circumstances.

Limitation of liability

We are not responsible for any loss or damage that is not reasonably foreseeable and not caused by our negligence or breach of these terms. We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Intellectual property

All content on this website (including text, graphics, logos, images and game branding) is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute or create derivative works from any part of this site without our prior written consent, except where permitted by law.

Privacy and cookies

We handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which explains what data we collect, how we use it, how long we keep it and your rights under UK data protection law. By using this site and placing an order you agree that we may handle your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time, for example to reflect changes in the law, our business or our website. The version displayed on this page at the time you place your order will apply to that order.

Governing law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the non‑exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
