I'm Marvin and I started making some games for friends, initially some card games based on in-jokes and things to make us laugh, which we've had a lot of fun with. Then I started taking making fun things a little more seriously...

I have a workshop and like tinkering and making things with wood generally and I really wanted to make some beautiful art with resin and metallic pigments. So I started experimenting with these materials and some game ideas. Plus some glitter.
art as game
I like these things I make to be able to stand alone as an art object, and people tell me that they'd like one to put on their wall and things like that, which is great to hear, but I felt combining art and game would yield a uniquely fun and aesthetically pleasing experience. And it's just a ton of fun coming up with ideas for games and designs and making them. But the most fun part is playing them with people. And I love seeing my games go to new homes where new folk play and enjoy them there.
